CHECK IN: Check in is anytime after 3:00p.m. If you foresee
that you will be arriving after 5:00 p.m., please be sure to contact the office
for special arrangements. We strive to make every effort to have your cabin
ready on time, although from time to time there may be a slight delay, we
apologize in advance and express that your patience is greatly appreciated.
CHECK OUT: Check out time is 10:00 a.m. unless approved by the
office. Non approval will result in additional charges. We DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS
FOR EARLY DEPARTURES for any reason including weather and/or road conditions.
DEPOSIT: One night’s deposit is required for 1-3 night
reservations. Half of the total is required for reservations 4 nights or more.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Cashiers Cheques, Travelers Cheques and
Cash.....Sorry no personal or business checks. We Do Not Accept American
Express. Secret Hideaways Cabin and Chalet Rentals may use any funds received
from guests immediately upon receipt of such funds.
KEYS: Keys must be returned to the office. If you happen to
check out before the office opens please make sure that you place the key in
the key drop box. There will be a $50.00 charge for any key that is mi splaced
or not returned to the office.
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE and/or chains are required for the winter
months as we do not refund if you cannot make it to your cabin/chalet.
MECHANICAL FAILURE: We strive to ensure that every cabin is
fully functionable and in working order, although as with your own home, things
do happen. We will do our very best to correct any problem in a timely manner
to the best of our ability although there will be no refunds nor rate
adjustments for mechanical failures beyond our control.
HOT TUBS: It is recommended that anyone with heart problems,
pregnant, sensative skin or children under 16 should not use the hot tub.
Medical research indicates that a hot tub can cause unsafe drop in a young
persons heart rate and dangerously increase his or her body temperature.
Children are also more prone to skin irritation from the chemicals used in a
hot tub. Submerging in a hot tub can cause eye irritation along with possible
ear and respiratory problems. The chemicals used may also discolor bathing
suits and treated hair. Shower before and after using the hot tub and PLEASE DO
NOT ADD OILS OR BUBBLES. Enjoy the hot tub although understand you are doing so
at your own risk.
HOT TUB COVERS: Hot tubs are inspected after each departure.
Damage to any Hot Tub Cover will result in a replacement charge from $400.00 to
$600.00. Hot tub cover should be on the hot tub when it is not in use.
FURNISHINGS: Please be aware that each cabin is individually
owned, therefore we ask that the decorations and furniture not be moved. Rates,
descriptions, photos, etc. may change without notice based on each owner.
CRITTERS: Each cabin is professionaly treated for critters and
bugs, however you may have an occassional invader make thier way into the
cabin. Management is not responsable for these instances.
MANAGEMENT: Will not be responsable for accidents or injury to
anyone or for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables. We also reserve
the right to refuse service or discontinue occupancy if in our opinion deem
detrimental to the cabin or safety of others and or property. We rent to
responsible adults over the age of 21 ONLY!! MANAGEMENT RESERVES ALL
RIGHTS.
FIREWOOD: Firewood for wood burning fireplaces will be
available October 1 through April 30. Gas fireplaces will be turned on October
1 and turned off April 30.
PETS: Some units (not all, be sure to ask) allow pets. There
is a non refundable pet fee of $65.00 per pet. You as the pet owner agree to
pay for any & all damages caused by your pet.
STARTER KIT: We supply each cabin with a starter kit which
includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent and
garbage bags. If you will be with us a few days you might want to bring extra!!
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation policy is 14 days prior to the date
of arrival for regular reservations, 60 days prior for holidays and special
events. If you cancel within 14 days(or 60 days) prior to your date of arrival
you will forfeit any and all monies applied to your reservation. If you cancel
15 days or more (or 61 if holiday or special event) from the arrival date you
will be charged 15% of your deposit plus the $50.00 cancellation fee. If for
any reason you do not show up for your reservation you will be billed the
entire balance.
